Overview
Scholarships are one of the best ways to help defray the cost of tuition and board. Different than a loan, scholarships do not need to be paid back. Students are awarded based on a “best quality” rating and meet the criteria for any of 91´«Ă˝â€™s admissions scholarships.
Scholarship applications must be submitted by their specific priority date. After the priority dates, awards will be limited, based on the availability of scholarships.
91´«Ă˝ also awards institutional and federal grants, loans, and work-study opportunities to students with demonstrated financial need. Visit the Financial Aid page for details.
Scholarship & Grant Opportunities
91´«Ă˝ has a number of endowments that are specifically for awarding scholarships to enrolled students.
The annual competition is open to all current and incoming students. Each scholarship has specific eligibility criteria but only one main endowed scholarships application is required for most scholarships. Amounts of each scholarship vary up to $7,300.

There are thousands of scholarships offered by various organizations and companies that are available to college students everywhere. It is difficult to navigate through these many opportunities, so 91´«Ă˝ has compiled a list of them directly applicable to our students. No matter your degree program or grade level, there are scholarships available year-round.
These scholarships have been pre-selected by the Financial Aid Office as good matches for 91´«Ă˝ students. However, you can apply for any outside scholarship. Review eligibility requirements for each scholarship to ensure that you qualify.
Helpful Hint: Scholarships offering more money are typically more competitive. Applying for more scholarships with a smaller dollar value may increase your chances of being awarded.
On-Campus Undergraduate new students are eligible for either a $250 or $500 Visit Grant (amount depends on state of residence) during their first term of enrollment should they visit campus during the school year prior to enrolling (certain conditions apply). This one-time scholarship goes toward tuition in your first time of enrollment for a Master’s in Education (M.Ed.). Students must begin either in Summer or Fall 2024 and enroll in at least 6 credits to be considered.

Available to Ph.D. students based on the strength of their admissions application and prior experience. This scholarship is renewable throughout the student’s program of study.

Open to a student who is transferring from one of our partner community colleges. $1000 first-term grant. Ask your admissions counselor about this unique opportunity.
